Josh Freese, the songwriting drummer who made headlines by selling bizarre package deals to hype his solo album two years ago, is back with a new batch of elaborate offerings for his latest EP, My New Friends. The top-tier offering, a $75,000 bundle, buys the services of Freese — an in-demand session drummer who plays with Devo, A Perfect Circle and other groups — as a hired gun for a month.
